About The Role

Lone-Star Roof Systems is looking for driven, personable Residential Roofing Sales Consultants to join our team across Texas. In this role, you'll be the face of Lone-Star for our clients — conducting inspections, building trust, presenting solutions, and closing contracts on residential roofing projects including repairs, maintenance, replacements, and new builds.

This is a field-based sales role with strong earning potential for those who are motivated, organized, and committed to delivering a great customer experience from first contact through project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough roof inspections and document conditions with photos using company-provided mobile tools
  • Meet with clients to present findings, explain repair or replacement options, and build rapport
  • Prepare and deliver professional proposals using our estimating and proposal software
  • Guide clients through the insurance claims process when applicable
  • Cultivate strong relationships with homeowners and key referral partners—including realtors, insurance adjusters/agents, and property managers—to drive repeat business and high‑quality referrals
  • Manage your pipeline and follow up on leads using our CRM platform
  • Coordinate with production teams and installation crews to ensure project success
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in company systems — including job photos, signed documents, and project notes
  • Leverage shared company resources, documents, and spreadsheets to stay aligned with the broader team

Required

  • Ability to climb ladders and access rooftops, both sloped and flat
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly with clients
  • Comfortable performing roof inspections and working at heights
  • Highly organized with strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple opportunities at various stages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong work ethic
  • Tech-proficient and adaptable — able to learn and consistently use multiple platforms and apps on laptop and mobile, including CRM software, mobile inspection and photo tools, proposal platforms, and shared document and spreadsheet systems
  • Ability to pass drug tests, as well as criminal and motor vehicle background checks
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; comfort traveling throughout your assigned territory

Preferred

  • 1–3+ years of sales experience, preferably in roofing, construction, or a related trade industry
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish
