About The Role
Lone-Star Roof Systems is seeking hardworking, reliable Residential Roofing Crew Members to join our field installation teams. You'll work alongside experienced crews to install, repair, maintain, and replace residential roofing systems — delivering the quality craftsmanship that Lone-Star is known for across Texas.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the trades. No prior roofing experience is required — we're willing to train the right candidates who show up with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Install shingles, underlayment, flashing, and related residential roofing materials
- Assist with tear-off and removal of existing roofing systems
- Ensure quality workmanship, keeping to company standards
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Load and unload materials and keep job sites clean and organized
- Work efficiently as part of a crew under the direction of the Crew Lead and Production Team
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely
Required
- Ability to climb ladders and access rooftops, both sloped and flat
- Physical ability to work outdoors in varying Texas weather conditions
- Comfort working at heights and on rooftops
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Ability to pass drug tests, as well as criminal and motor vehicle background checks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Preferred
- Prior roofing or construction experience
Compensation & Benefits
- $15 - $28 per hour based on experience
- Eligible for overtime pay
