Marketing & Creative Coordinator
College Station
Support daily office operations and help ensure a smooth experience for both customers and internal teams.
About The Role
Lone-Star Roof Systems is looking for a creative, driven, and highly organized Marketing & Creative Coordinator to join our team in College Station. This is a wide-ranging in-house role built for someone who can move fluidly between creative work and operational support — one day you might be editing drone footage from a completed project, the next you're designing project portfolios or helping put together a bid package.
This role is less about paid advertising strategy and more about being the creative and organizational engine inside our office — producing content, building promotional and educational materials, keeping our digital presence sharp, and making sure the details don't fall through the cracks. If you're the type who finishes a task and immediately looks for the next thing to improve or tackle, you'll fit right in here.
Responsibilities
Marketing & Creative
- Create and maintain digital and print project portfolios showcasing completed residential and commercial roofing work
- Operate a drone on job sites and around finished projects to capture aerial footage and photography for marketing, documentation, and portfolio use
- Write, produce, and upload content for YouTube and our company blog — including scripting, editing, and scheduling
- Manage and schedule social media content across platforms, selecting photos and video, writing captions, and maintaining a consistent posting cadence
- Keep our website updated and optimized — refreshing content, adding new projects, and staying current with SEO and AEO best practices
- Design flyers, ads, and other promotional materials for digital and print use
- Create polished customer-facing documents including presentation materials, one-pagers, and training resources
- Research, coordinate design, and assist with ordering branded merchandise, logo items, and giveaways
- Represent Lone-Star Roof Systems at community events, trade fairs, and expos — setting up and manning our table or booth and engaging with attendees
- Support our philanthropic and community involvement efforts, helping document and share those stories internally and externally
Operations & Office Support
- Assist with putting together roofing proposals and takeoffs for replacement and new construction bids
- Maintain and update company documents, templates, and internal resources using our shared drive and document systems
- Learn and consistently utilize company platforms across laptop and mobile — including our CRM, shared drives, photo management apps, measurement and takeoff software, and proposal tools
- Support management with additional office tasks, research, and projects as needed
Required
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle a varied workload and shifting priorities without dropping the ball
- Observant and forward-thinking — you notice gaps in processes or content, come up with ideas to fill them, and aren't shy about bringing those ideas to the table
- Creative and visually minded — you have an eye for what looks good and can produce content that reflects a professional, trustworthy brand
- Strong writing skills — comfortable producing everything from social captions to blog posts to customer-facing documents
- Working knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar) and video editing software
- Familiarity with SEO and AEO principles and a willingness to stay current as best practices evolve
- Self-directed and proactive — when a task is finished, you communicate that and move toward the next one; during slower stretches you identify backlogged work, propose improvements, or ask management what's needed rather than waiting to be told
- Tech-savvy and a quick learner — able to pick up and consistently use multiple platforms and apps on both laptop and mobile, including CRM software, shared drives, photo and measurement tools, and proposal software
- Comfortable being the face of the company at public events and interacting with a wide range of people professionally
- Ability to pass drug tests, as well as criminal and motor vehicle background checks
- Valid driver's license, must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred
- Experience in construction, roofing, or a trade industry is a genuine plus — familiarity with the terminology and the pace of the business helps
- FAA Part 107 drone certification and prior drone flying experience
Compensation & Benefits
- $14 - $18 per hour based on experience
- Monday - Friday, 8 hour day shift
- Retirement Plan, including employer matching contributions
- Health Insurance, partially covered for employee
- Dental and Vision Insurance
- 10 days of paid holidays
- Paid time off, beginning at 10 days per year
