About The Role
Lone-Star Roof Systems is seeking an experienced Foreman/Project Manager to oversee our field installation crews on residential and/or commercial roofing projects. This is a leadership role for someone who knows the craft well and can keep a job running safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality.
You'll be the primary point of accountability on your job sites — coordinating your crew, communicating with management, sales, and clients, and ensuring every project reflects the Lone-Star standard.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise roofing crews on active job sites
- Manage daily project workflow, scheduling, and material logistics
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project specs and quality standards
- Enforce job site safety protocols and OSHA compliance at all times
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and inspectors
- Manage project timelines and completion
- Communicate project status, issues, and progress to internal teams regularly
- Mentor and develop crew members, fostering a positive and productive team culture
- Assist with material ordering, punch lists, and project closeout documentation
Required
- 3–5+ years of roofing experience, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or foreman capacity
- Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial roofing systems and installation methods
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold a crew accountable
- Solid understanding of job site safety and OSHA standards
- Ability to read project plans and communicate clearly with clients and management
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Tech-proficient and adaptable — able to learn and consistently use multiple platforms and apps on laptop and mobile, including CRM software, mobile inspection and photo tools, proposal platforms, and shared document and spreadsheet systems
- Ability to pass drug tests, as well as criminal and motor vehicle background checks
- Valid driver's license required; reliable transportation to job sites
Preferred
- OSHA 30 certification
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
